SOPA Dies – Smith Pulls Bill

Lamar Smith, the chief sponsor of SOPA, made a statement today that he is pulling the bill “until there is wider agreement on a solution.”
“I have heard from the critics and I take seriously their concerns regarding proposed legislation to address the problem of online piracy,” Smith (R-Texas) told Reuters.

Joe Stack Plane Crash in Austin, Texas [Video & Alleged Suicide Note]

On Thursday February 18th, Joseph Stack intentionally flew a small private plane into Echelon building #1 in Austin, Texas. The 4-story building holds about 200 IRS employees. The crash reportedly injured 13 people, two of which were in critical condition. Stack was pronounced dead at the scene.
