ISP Locators

Compare Business Internet, Voice and Colocation Providers

Buying Business Internet Today

Shopping business internet for an office comes down to one question that has to be settled before price ever matters. Who actually reaches this building? Coverage is specific to the address...a national provider list is worth very little until it narrows to the carriers that serve one location.

Coverage Comes First

That is the part which eats the time. Working through carriers one at a time means repeating the same address and the same requirements on every call, then trying to line up answers that arrive separately and in different shapes. A provider that does not reach your suite cannot be talked into reaching it...a good deal of that effort buys nothing.

The order is worth keeping straight...find out who can serve the address, then let those providers argue about price.

How the Bidding Works

ISP Locators runs it that way round. You give an address and a rough set of requirements...only the carriers that actually reach that location bid on it. One short request takes about 30 seconds, costs nothing, and carries no obligation.

Quotes usually come back within hours, and you weigh them on price, speed and the service level agreement in one place, then deal directly with the provider you choose. The marketplace is channel-neutral and free to use, with more than 1,400 carriers competing across every major metro nationwide.

What Goes Out to Bid

What a business can put out to bid has moved a long way past plain access circuits...the list now runs wider than most buyers expect.

  • Connectivity: Fiber, dedicated internet access, business ethernet, cable and fixed wireless, up to symmetrical, SLA-backed gigabit.
  • Voice: Business VoIP, SIP trunking, PRI, VPN and SD-WAN, tying multiple sites into one managed network.
  • Colocation: Carrier-neutral server space from a single rack to a private cage, plus fully managed hosting.
  • Security: Managed firewall and SASE, 24x7 SOC monitoring, and managed detection and response as a service.
  • Operations: Disaster recovery, network monitoring, application management and inbound call center solutions.

The Old Circuits Still Quote

None of that retires the traditional connectivity, which goes out to the same competitive bid.

  • Copper: Business DSL, full T1, voice T1, fractional and bonded T1, and integrated T1.
  • Optical: T3 and DS3, OC-3 and OC-12.
  • Legacy Data: Frame relay, where the circuit itself is the requirement.

These are what you buy when a guaranteed circuit is the priority rather than the biggest number on the sheet. They are still quoted...just no longer the starting point for most offices.

Start With the Address

The address decides the shortlist...everything after it follows from that. Anyone pricing connectivity for a new office, or replacing a circuit that has aged out, can put it through ISP Locators and let the providers that actually serve the building compete for it.
